The library has purchased a new online service for patrons called Hoopla.

“We are excited to offer our patrons a new way to access library materials from home, especially during the pandemic,” says cataloguing and acquisitions coordinator, Beth Van Tassel. “What’s really great about this service is that there are no holds. Patrons can select an item and have it immediately.”

Hoopla is a web and mobile library media streaming platform for audiobooks, comics, e-books, movies, music, and TV. Patrons can either stream on Hoopla or download onto their device to be used without Wi-Fi. Each library card will only be allowed a total of three checkouts per month. This is a service offered by other libraries in our area and has been highly praised by both.
