What's open/closed in Collingwood this holiday weekend

Town hall will be closed and there will be no Colltrans service on Monday, Aug. 2

A number of services in Collingwood are affected by holiday weekends. The following municipal services will be affected due to the Civic Holiday on Monday, Aug. 2:

Town Hall and other municipal facilities will be closed Aug. 2 for the Civic Holiday. You can still access many town services online such as paying taxes, dog tags, building permits or burn permits at www.collingwood.ca/vth

All Colltrans transit services operating on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, Aug. 1. On Monday, Aug. 2 there will be no Colltrans Service however the Blue Mountain Link will continue its normal hours of operation.

Town of the Blue Mountain town hall will be closed on Aug. 2 for the Civic Holiday and will resume regular operating hours on Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 8:30 a.m.

Grey Highlands town hall will be closed on Aug. 2 for the Civic Holiday and will resume regular operating hours on Tuesday, Aug. 3.

Grey County office services will be closed on Monday, Aug. 2, and will reopen remotely at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3. Emergency and medical county services remain in operation.

Note: Currently, Grey County offices remain closed to the public, however services are continuing to be provided remotely and through appointment only (department dependant).
 

County of Simcoe services

There will be no transit service on any of the LINX routes on the Civic Holiday (Monday, Aug. 2).

There will be no change to the regular curbside waste collection schedule. To ensure collection, have your materials to the curb by 7 a.m. on your normal collection day. 

All county waste facilities will be closed on Monday, Aug. 2 for the Civic Holiday.
