The Town of Wasaga Beach announced its outdoor skating rink is opening today for the season, and will stay open until March, weather permitting.
Starting Dec. 15, the rink will be open for pleasure skating Tuesday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.
Shinny hours run Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to noon.
The rink will be open throughout the day for public use, but there will only be rink attendants at the site during the above hours.
Skating is free, and there is a heated changeroom and washrooms on site.
