The Murray J. Clerkson Committee is calling for art submissions for its annual award.
The award is named for a local artist who supported new and emerging artists by investing in their work and encouraging artists in their achievements.
The award is presented to a talented, emerging artist who lives in the South Georgian Bay region. The winner of the 9th annual Murray J. Clerkson Award will receive a $1,000 cash prize and will be featured (along with four finalists) in an exhibition for the month of June at the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts Centre.
