The Friends of the Clearview EcoPark invite you to join them on April 22 from noon to 6 p.m. to celebrate Earth Day at the Clearview EcoPark.

Clearview Township and the Parks, Culture & Recreation Department are excited to honour Earth Day at the EcoPark, “We are excited to offer a wide range of activities at the Clearview EcoPark for children and adults to learn about the importance of the environment, habitats and sustainability. Ultimately, we hope that our message spreads beyond the Earth Day Celebrations, helping to make every day Earth Day”

Stop by the Clearview EcoPark at 300 Mowat Street North in Stayner to help clean up the park and join in on the free outdoor, family-friendly activities. Explore new habitats, identify bugs, learn something new about gardening, paint a rock, or take a nature walk with the four-legged members of your family.

Mayor Measures is proud of what the Friends of the EcoPark Volunteers are accomplishing through this community event, “Thanks to the dedicated volunteers, visitors of all ages will be able to explore and get educated about the environmental significance of the Clearview EcoPark. Hopefully, the first of many more events that bring people together to learn more about the Clearview EcoPark.”

Don’t forget to dress for the weather! On April 22 help the Friends of the Clearview celebrate Earth Day. Visit the Events Calendar, www.discoverclearview.ca/events for more details.
