Noah Irvine's childhood was anything but typical. He lost his mother to suicide when he was five, and his father to a drug overdose when he was 15.
Amazingly, the Guelph resident turned his personal tragedies into a mission for change (with a little help from Village Media).
His book — Learning to Live: From the Loss of My Parents to Mental Health Advocate — is a powerful call to action for every Canadian, especially politicians who have the power to make a real difference.
Irvine was a recent guest on Inside the Village, a weekly news and current affairs podcast produced by Village Media. You can watch the full podcast HERE.
