Two winners announced for new arts technology award

The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts (BMFA) announced the winners of the first annual Living Water Resorts Digital Arts Technology Awards.

At an awards ceremony on Sept. 27 at the Simcoe Street Theatre, the BMFA named the first-ever winners of a new award established this year for mediums such as digital illustration, graphic design, video, photo manipulation, and animation.

The winner of the open category is Lili Truemner-Caron and she received a cash prize of $1,000.

The winner of the student category is Marlow Fancett and she received a cash prize of $500.
