NEWS RELEASE
COMMUNITY LONGTABLE HERITAGE DINNER
**************************
We are pleased to announce the Community Longtable Heritage dinner on Sunday, Sept. 15 on UNESCO land at T&K Ferri Orchards.

Join us at the 275-foot communal table. Enjoy an incredible al fresco community dining experience set amongst the fruit laden apple trees of T&K Ferri Orchards in the beautiful Beaver Valley.

Some of the area’s finest chefs will craft an exclusive menu that showcases exquisite farm-to-table dishes exemplifying the best The Blue Mountains has to offer in celebration of our heritage.

The Longtable experience includes appetizers, cocktails and activities including tours of the orchard, flower making, watching local artists create a masterpiece (which will be sold that night in a silent auction) and much more!

Guests will arrive by bus and cars will not be permitted on site. The main dinner will begin at 6 p.m. followed by hot cider and Collingwood whiskey to complete this fantastic experience!

The primary supporters of this event are Hudson’s Bay Company, T&K Ferri Orchards, The Cheese Gallery; Black Angus Meats & Game and Barbara Harron Financial Planning/Wealth Management.

Preserving and honouring our local heritage is essential. We are delighted to celebrate our heritage in concert with the Hudson’s Bay Company, which began as a merchandizing company in 1670. With such rich local history, we have the privilege to partner with and promote a variety of local producers, chefs, restaurants, young apple farmers and small businesses all under the Community Heritage Longtable banner!

Proceeds from this event will go to support the following community focused recipients including Thornbury/Clarksburg Rotary Club, Beaver Valley Agricultural Society, 100 Acre Wood Forest Pre-School and Building Careers and Futures in Agriculture. Our mandate is to provide charitable donations focused on community, heritage, youth and food education.
