Through Her Eyes is the current art exhibit at the Press Room Gallery at 65 Simcoe St. featuring the work of six female artists.

Six artists marked Women's Day this year with an exhibit of their work that includes a diverse collection of mediums and styles for a show called "Through Her Eyes."

On display now through March 30 at the Press Room Gallery in the Simcoe Street Theatre building, the show features the work of Alison Boyack, Gill Cameron, Deirdre Chase, Anke Lex, Jennifer Johnson, and Cecilia Spihlmann.

"I feel thankful for being part of such a talented and diverse group of women in [Collingwood's] art community," said Boyak.

The show features a range of art from large-scale portraits of contemporary and historical visionaries, landscapes of Northern Ontario, reimaginings of Picasso's female portraits in earthenware, figurative landscapes in oil, saturated watercolour landscapes, and dreamlike landscapes in acrylic.

The exhibit is on now at the Press Room Gallery at 65 Simcoe Street until March 30. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
