Snow squall watch in effect for:
  • Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale
  • Midland - Coldwater - Orr Lake
  • Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago

Snow squalls are expected to redevelop Wednesday.

Flurries will continue tonight. Gusty winds from the west are expected Wednesday morning. Snow squalls, with reduced visibility, may develop as a result.

Local snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are possible before the snow squalls taper off Wednesday evening or overnight.

Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Public Safety Canada encourages everyone to make an emergency plan and get an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit and a flashlight.
