Quest Art School + Gallery is revving up for its premier fundraising event.

Drive for Art takes place May 25 at the Midland Cultural Centre and organizers are promising it will be a fun evening by offering guests an exclusive ‘pink carpet’ experience.

Volunteer communications consultant Stephanie Rumball says the gala supports Quest in its mission to provide opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds and abilities to experience the dynamic power of art and improve the mental, physical and emotional health of our community.

“As Quest's premier fundraising initiative, the Drive For Art Gala is an evening of elegance that will bring together fine art, sleek automobiles, live entertainment and exquisite cuisine in cocktails in an effort to raise vital funds,” Rumball said.

As a registered not-for-profit organization that does not receive a government subsidy, Quest relies solely on the generous support of its donors, patrons and sponsors.

According to Quest, the contributions made by these individuals and organizations bring to life the diverse creative programs, workshops  and exhibitions that the local community has come to know and love.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be able to share the Drive For Art Gala with our  community once again this year,” Quest chair Cathy Tait said, noting that not unlike its peers, 2020 to 2023 were challenging for years for small organizations like Quest.

“Our guests can look forward to a wonderful shared experience, but more importantly, they will play a vital role in shaping Quest's future and preserving its legacy.”

Tickets for the gala that runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m. are $150 and can be purchased here.
