NEWS RELEASE
PEOPLE'S PARTY OF CANADA SIMCOE-GREY EDA
*************************
The federal Simcoe-Grey Electoral District Association (EDA) for the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) was formally registered with Elections Canada on March 27, 2019. The People’s Party was founded in September 2018 by former Cabinet Minister, the Honourable Maxime Bernier PC MP, on the principles of Personal Responsibility, Individual Freedom, Respect, and Fairness. The PPC is a free market, national party committed to governing on behalf of all Canadians.

With the federal election only months away, the PPC has been actively recruiting candidates to represent each of the 338 ridings across the country. To date, 324 ridings have been registered with Elections Canada as PPC Electoral District Associations and the remaining ridings are being processed. The People’s Party historic growth has been unparalleled in Canadian politics with over 36,000 members in a few short months.

Simcoe-Grey PPC Association is pleased to announce the selection of our candidate for the October federal election.

Jeff Harris joins our riding with previous political experience in the last provincial election as a Libertarian candidate for Dufferin-Caledon. Happily married, and the father of two children, he’s concerned that politicians are ignoring the concerns of regular people. He helped start and run a successful multi-million-dollar document management software company in Toronto and created a consumer advocacy site in the 1990’s that is still running and was featured on the Discovery Channel.

Jeff is a candidate who shares our fundamental values and is committed to promoting our policies and principles. He is ready to ambitiously campaign to become the next Member of Parliament for Simcoe-Grey.
