"I never play Encore, but I ended up adding it onto my ticket last minute," Jonathan shared. He says his fiancé checked his ticket while they were together at a gas station and immediately waved Jonathan over when she realized it was a winning ticket. “My first thoughts before we knew how much we had won, was that it was going to be good. When I found out we won $100,000, I was so happy!"
Jonathan immediately called his mom, Joy, to share the news about their big win. "We celebrated with some champagne," he smiled.
The mother and son duo feel blessed about their big win. "The timing is unbelievable. We are just about to buy a new house,” explained Jonathan. “Also, my mom really deserves this win, she's done so much for me, my children, and my fiancé. She loves to vacation, so hopefully it will be safe to travel soon, so she can explore the world," Jonathan concluded.
