Local church wants to help kids hit the ground running this fall

CLEARVIEW COMMUNITY CHURCH

As we look ahead to returning to school, for many families, purchasing essential supplies can be difficult.

Necessities such as backpacks, school supplies and running shoes are costly to families and can cause financial burdens for some. We want to relieve some of that burden and support the students who are going back to school this September.

With the school year fast approaching, Clearview Community Church is so excited to present our Running Back to School Event.

This first-ever event will provide students with a new pair of running shoes, a backpack, supplies for back to school, and a food hamper. All of these things will be provided at no cost to the student. This event is open to students in the following areas: Stayner, Creemore, Wasaga Beach, New Lowell, Nottawa and Collingwood.

Huge thanks to the Township of Clearview for their generous grant of $2500.00 to help us provide new running shoes for students in need. If you’re interested in donating to help, please visit https://www.clearviewcommunity.church/giving (Please indicate that this is for the Back-to-School Event).
