Country music lover and festival organizer Forrest Jones isn't giving up on his dream to bring back live music.

Though he's had to postpone previously scheduled May drive-in concert events, he's launched Country Cares 2.0, for July 9 and 10.

The concert lineup includes Jade Eagleson, a 26-year-old up-and-comer with a Juno award nomination, as well as Marshall Dane, Leah Daniels, Rivertown Saints, Jesse Slack, Jess & Tay, Andrew Hyatt, Jason Blaine, Evan Farell, Tianna Woods, and Owen Barney.

The event is scheduled to take place in parking lot three at Blue Mountain Inn.

There will be three shows including a 6 p.m. show on July 9, and noon and 6 p.m. shows on July 10.

Passes will be sold per vehicle, and are available online here.

A portion of each ticket sold ($10) will be donated to the Unison Benevolent Fund, which is a charity providing counselling and emergency relief services to the Canadian music community.
