The Kiwanis Club of South Georgian Bay is making sure Collingwoods mobile soup kitchen's cheese drawer is well stocked this holiday season.

The club donated 215 of its 300-gram packs of shredded mozzarella cheese to the Collingwood Mobile Soup Kitchen last week.

The Kiwanis club sells cheese around the holiday season as a fundraiser and decided to add a little extra to the order for the soup kitchen.

"It started out as a $500 donation of cheese. Suddenly five members each donated $100 more to make a total of $1,000," said Bill Nicholson of the Kiwanis Club.
