Hurontario sounds like Walking in Memphis

Memphis Jones performed the songs of Memphis, Tennessee in a free, outdoor concert last night downtown Collingwood

Memphis Jones and his band performed on the outdoor stage last night in a free concert for residents and guests of the 2019 Collingwood Elvis Festival.

Jones has been part of the festival as an emcee and performer (but not an ETA) since the mid 2000s. His band performed the music of Memphis, Tennessee, from Chuck Berry to Elvis Presley, and even some - controversial - Jerry Lee Lewis.

Concert goers enjoyed the music and many even danced along. The show wrapped up just before the rain started.

Collingwood Elvis Festival continues today with a gospel show in the morning and the grand finals for the ETA contest at 1 p.m. The day - and the festival - wraps up with a ticketed afterparty at 8 p.m. You'll find tickets and scheduling information online here.

Enjoy these photos from the Memphis Jones band performance.
