There’s a new and easier way to financially support the many critical services provided by the Hospice Georgian Triangle. Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation introduces a new website: www.hgtfoundation.com

Each year Hospice Georgian Triangle supports hundreds of families living in Collingwood, Clearview Township, The Town of Blue Mountains, and Wasaga Beach.

But the local hospice would simply not exist without generous community support.

By launching its new website, Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation, which raises funds to support Hospice, can better communicate with the community on its many events and programs, including the upcoming 12th annual Hike or Bike for Hospice this May 29 in Collingwood, Ontario.

The website highlights the many ways to give including making a one-time gift, a gift in memory, a gift in thanks, monthly giving, organizing and participating in special events, estate planning, becoming a corporate partner and more.

“The new website compliments the existing hospice website, which focuses on the programs and services offered by Hospice Georgian Triangle," said Sandra Sullivan, Executive Director of Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation. "The foundation website gives information on the different ways to participate in philanthropy and support hospice.”

The design of this website was donated by Cameron Clark, founder and creative director of PhantomOwl Digital, who also designed the website for Hospice Georgian Triangle in 2021.

Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation’s purpose is to raise the funds that allow Hospice Georgian Triangle to fulfil its mission and provide exceptional hospice palliative care and community programming at no cost to the user. Hospice Georgian Triangle provides compassionate care in the home and at Campbell House for individuals and families dealing with life-limiting illness living in the communities of Collingwood, Clearview Township, The Town of Blue Mountains, and Wasaga Beach.

The government provides less than 50 per cent of the cost to operate Hospice Georgian Triangle. The hospice relies on the generosity of the community to provide care to people and their families with life-limiting illness.

Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation needs donations from the southern Georgian Bay community to fund programming, especially grief and bereavement counselling, child support groups and pain and symptom management programs. For more information visit www.hgtfoundation.com or call 705-444-2555.
