Though there are fewer places in Collingwood and area to get a COVID-19 vaccine than there were this summer, you can still find local spots with available appointments or walk-in slots.
Many pharmacies are offering vaccination against COVID-19, including Shoppers Drug Mart, Rexall, Stuart Ellis Pharmacy, Wal Mart, Loblaw, and Metro.
According to the Shoppers Drug Mart website, walk-ins are accepted for Moderna vaccines with no appointment necessary.
Rexall pharmacies are offering walk-in spots based on vaccine availability, or you can join a waiting list online.
Stuart Ellis Pharmacy has an online waiting list available here.
Loblaw pharmacies accept walk-ins.
Wal Mart Pharmacy offers online appointment booking here.
Metro pharmacy offers online appointment booking for COVID-19 vaccines, and also sometimes accepts walk-ins. You can book online here.
Thornbury Pharmasave is also offering COVID-19 vaccines with an online waiting list and notification service here. They will be using the same service to notify people for flu vaccine availability.

COVID-19 vaccinations are available to individuals who are turning 12 years of age in 2021 (born in 2009) and older and needing their first or second dose. Second doses must be at least 21 days after a first dose of Pfizer vaccine, at least 28 days after a first dose of Moderna vaccine, or eight weeks after a first dose of AstraZeneca with informed consent.
When attending a clinic, individuals are encouraged to dress for the weather as they may be required to wait outdoors before entering the clinic. They are also reminded to bring a health card, a list of any medications they are taking, wear a loose-fitting shirt that allows easy access to the upper arm and bring any assistive devices as needed (e.g., scooter, wheelchair, cane).
