Below are five area events among the many happening this weekend:

Pre-Loved Fashion Sale

Agnora will be holding their annual Pre-Loved Fashion Sale for Good at 200 Mountain Road on April 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and this year will match funds raised at the sale, up to $15,000, for the CGMH Foundation. After the clothing sale, unsold items will go to other causes such as My Friend’s House, Barbara Weider House, local clothing swaps, or kept for next year’s sale.

Collingwood Blues playoff finals

The Collingwood Blues will start their first best-of-seven game in the OJHL playoff finals against the Trenton Golden Hawks on April 19 at 7 p.m. at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena. The second game will follow on April 20 at 6 p.m., also at the Eddie Bush.

EarthFest 2024

On April 20, the third annual EarthFest event takes place at the Collingwood Curling Club starting at 10 a.m. Collingwood’s Mayor Yvonne Hamlin as well of members of council will be in attendance, with music, information from local environmental groups and activities for kids.

BMFA Juried Art Show

The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts (BMFA) 44th Annual Juried Art Show exhibition runs from April 17 to June 8, 2023, with an opening reception on April 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Simcoe Street Theatre.

In Spite of Ourselves: An Evening of John Prine

In Spite of Ourselves brings together Canadian songwriters and friends to enjoy stories and songs about John Prine. The show takes place April 19 at the Simcoe Street Theatre.
