Storytelling is an important part of what makes us human. Stories are how we reflect on our past, live our present, and dream of the future. Stories are what connect us all as human beings. And no story is more important than your own.

As a woman in business, your story is not only a marketing tool, it’s your identity. It’s your way of telling the world who you are and why you’re here. And you all have a story to tell.

This isn’t an event, it’s a gathering of storytellers. It’s a safe space to share and be heard. It’s a rally to stand up, stand out, and step into who you are while bringing the world along with you.

Your story is important, and on March 12 you’ll be given the guidance and the opportunity to write it and tell it.

Join us, and let your story come to life.

The Collingwood Foundry and Girl Time Inc. featuring Sabrina Greer of YGT Mama and musical guest Laura Conning of Route 26 are running this free (by donation with all donations going to Mamas for Mamas) online event dedicated to empowering businesswomen to deeply connect with their story and inspire them to share it by giving them the tools and tips to write and share it through books, podcasts, blogs, and more. Each attendee will be given the chance to work on their story and share it with the group.

The evening will start with live entertainment from Laura Conning followed by Sabrina’s presentation, time to work in your individual stories with breakout rooms, a larger group discussion, and then a Q&A with Sabrina.

Additionally, one attendee will win a $3,000 Women in Business Grant!

To apply for the grant you must select the ticket "Admission + Grant Application" and answer the questions. Applicants must also attend the event to be present for award.

The grant is offered in partnership with the Collingwood Foundry, Girl Time Inc., South Georgian Bay Small Business Enterprise Centre, XcelerateHER and the Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre, and Startup Women Fund (Presented by: Sovereign Insurance, UPS, Inniskillin, EDC, Scotiabank)
