Golf Fore Kids' Sake teeing off this fall in Sauble Beach

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF GREY BRUCE AND WESTERN SIMCOE

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce and Western Simcoe (BBBSGBWS), a non-profit organization dedicated to creating communities where young people belong, announces its much-anticipated annual charity golf tournament.

The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the wonderful and well-known Sauble Golf and Country Club, and Scotia Wealth Management and the Power Workers’ Union will be sponsoring this spirited event. With a shared commitment to giving back to the community, all proceeds from the tournament will be used to support the mission and vision of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce and Western Simcoe. BBBSGBWS is currently serving over 160 youth and as of 2020 increased their catchment to include the Grey-Bruce and western Simcoe regions.

The Golf Fore Kids’ Sake tournament promises to be a convivial day of golf and camaraderie — an event where play meets social impact. Golf enthusiasts, community leaders, and businesses alike are invited to participate in this lively event. By joining us on the greens, participants will play a significant role in making a difference in the lives of youth while enjoying a day of sport and philanthropy.

Event highlights:

  • Scramble format: The tournament will follow a fun-filled scramble format, suitable for golfers of all levels, allowing participants to focus on enjoyment and socializing.
  • Exciting prizes: Participants will have the chance to win fabulous prizes generously donated by local businesses and sponsors.
  • Golf banquet: The day will culminate in a delicious banquet dinner where winners will be celebrated, and heartfelt thanks will be extended to all participants and contributors.
  • Silent auction: Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on exclusive items and experiences in a silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting our cause.
