There are some garbage bags and green bins still on the curb in Collingwood, and they won't be picked up until tomorrow.
The County of Simcoe released a statement indicating crews were unable to complete collection of garbage/organics and recycling in some parts of Collingwood.
The service provider - curbside collection is done on contract - will return first thing tomorrow (Aug. 13) for garbage and organics. The priority will be for garbage and green bins.
Missed recycling will be prioritized on the next scheduled collection day (Monday, Aug. 19), according to the County's statement.
Previously, CollingwoodToday reported labour shortages and extreme heat have created challenges that have led to some curbside collection being delayed.
