Don't forget! Clocks fall back tonight

The hour we 'saved' in the spring is coming back to us this weekend

There's potentially one more hour of sleep to gain tonight.

Daylight saving time ends Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2 a.m. That means that early Sunday morning the clocks will fall back an hour.

An Ontario politician — Jeremy Roberts, who represents Ottawa West-Nepean — is working to stick to daylight time and not have the clocks change twice a year. A private member's bill to end the time change in Ontario passed a couple of years ago. To move ahead, New York State and Quebec would have to be on board.

With clocks falling back, fire departments encourage people to test smoke alarms and change the batteries as well.
