Collingwood Well Baby Clinic moves to new location today

The clinic, which runs in partnership with the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital is moving to Beachwood Road today

The Collingwood Well Baby Clinic has moved to a new location on Beachwood Road, adjacent to the Midwives Nottawasaga. 

The clinic, which operates in partnership with the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital is available at no charge to families for a range of services. 

Drop-ins are welcome daily for concerns related to baby's weight gain, breastfeeding, pregnancy loss, and mood-related concerns for new parents. 

The clinic will also continue its other services 365 days a week, including: 

  • Well baby care for patients without family doctors until six-weeks post-partum 
  • Breastfeeding support with lactation consultants
  • Routine well baby weight checks
  • Antenatal breastfeeding consults 
  • Weekly after-baby group for families struggling with mood changes post-partum 
  • Bi-monthly prenatal breastfeeding workshop
  • Weekly postpartum walking group
  • Indoor postpartum group 

Natalie Kirby, a midwife and the lead at the well baby clinic said it's an exciting time for the local service, which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. 

"With this continued success and new space, we are looking to further expand our roster of programs and services in the near future," said Kirby in a news release. 

The new clinic is located at 9811 Beachwood Road, unit two.
