A portion of Niagara Street will be closed this morning for emergency paving after a water main break this weekend.
Town of Collingwood Communications Officer Adam Ferguson confirmed the work will take place ttoday (March 10) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. During that time, Niagara Street on the north side of Huron Street/Highway 26 will be closed.
Lanes on Huron Street (Highway 26) will also be reduced in the area, as some of the paving work will be on the highway.
Ferguson said the water main break occurred during the night on Saturday and was repaired on Sunday. Three customers on Huron Street were without water for 30 minutes.
