Collingwood residents make noise for front line workers (Video)

Pots, spoons and a Swiss cowbell clang and bang every night on this Collingwood street

A group of residents in a Collingwood neighbourhood have been cheering on nurses, healthcare staff, and frontline workers from their porches every evening since Thursday.

The neighbours come out onto their porches and to the ends of their driveways and bang pots, clanging in turn as if to answer each other.

The group is making the noise at 7:30 p.m. each night and hope the idea spreads to more residential streets in town.

Here's a video from tonight's cheer session.
