The Collingwood Museum just finished its fifth week of amazing summer programs! It's hard to believe we only have three weeks of programs left.

Staff is getting excited for next week's theme: Time Warp! The adventure will start on Tuesday with the Roaring 20s, an era of jazz music, the first “talkie” films, and slang that was the "cat’s meow".

Next, participants will visit the Groovy 60s to embrace flower power and make tie-dyed shirts. Finally, children will stop in the Tubular 80s to discover a time of big hair, jazzercise, and Pac Man. Visit our programming flyer for more details.

Our annual Shipyard Social is fast approaching! This event, Sept. 7 from noon to 3 p.m., gives Shipyard workers and the community an opportunity to celebrate Collingwood's shipbuilding history.

This free community event promises to be unforgettable.

Finishing touches are being made to our new Community Collectors exhibit. Jasmine MacLellan's display of Blue Mountain Pottery shows a variety of pieces from the well-known local business.

Stay tuned for information about the Collectors Night event!

The Collingwood Museum is located at 45 St. Paul St.

In the summer, the museum is open 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The museum is closed Fridays and Sundays.
