Collingwood Public Library is excited to host the TD Summer Reading Club this summer and invites young readers ages three to 12 years old to join in the fun.

The more you read, the more places you will go in 2023. Pick up your TD Summer Reading Club passport and read your way around
the globe. The minutes you read this summer will earn you passport stickers and free books.

“Summer is here, and we are looking forward to meeting with this year’s readers,” said Krystyna Sokol, children’s service coordinator at the library. “The summer reading program is a wonderful way to keep young readers engaged and hitting their reading goals. This summer will be jam-packed with awesome activities at the library!”

Studies show that kids who keep reading throughout the summer do better when they return to school in the fall. The TD Summer Reading Club is an ideal way to keep kids engaged. This free program is co-created and delivered by over 2,200 public libraries across Canada.

There will be plenty happening to keep kids busy throughout July at the Collingwood Public Library.

The library will be hosting Yoga for kids on Mondays at 6:00 p.m., drop-in theme camps on Tuesdays from 12:30-2:30 p.m., The Simple
Machines Magic Show on Friday, July 14 at 10:30, and a Cat and Suezy author talk on Thursday, July 20 at 10:30 a.m.
