The Collingwood Downtown Farmers' Market opens this Saturday morning, May 18 at 8 a.m.

Vendors are preparing for the 21st market season, organized annually by the Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA).

At the market, you will find fresh picked in season produce, naturally raised meats, preserves, baked goods, handcrafted items, and representation from area wineries, distilleries, and craft breweries.

The Collingwood Downtown Farmers’ Market is a member of Farmers’ Markets Ontario and prides itself in adhering to the guidelines of the 100 mile market, featuring only produce grown within 100 miles of the market location, to promote buying local and eating healthy.

The market runs 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Pine Street parking lot (corner of Pine and Second Streets) from now through Thanksgiving.
