Bell Fibe TV1, a leading force in Canadian community television, is calling on Collingwood’s content creators to join in crafting local programming.

Presented by the South Georgian Bay Media Association (SGBMA), this initiative aims to spotlight local talent and stories. Fibe TV1 is dedicated to bringing to life the diverse stories and rich cultural fabric of our communities through compelling video content. 

Event Overview: 

  • Date: April 30, 2024 
  • Time: 10 a.m. - Noon 
  • Location: Simcoe Street Theatre, Collingwood 

In a collaborative effort to cultivate and broadcast the unique narratives within Collingwood and South Georgian Bay, this event promises to connect local content creators with the opportunity to contribute to Fibe TV1's lineup of community-focused programming. 

Event Highlights: 

  • ● 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: This informative session will feature insights from Fibe TV1’s production team, including Supervising Producer John Buffone, Senior Producer Paul Gardner, and Producer Donna Cagnoli. 
  • ● 11 a.m. to noon: Speed Pitch Sessions, a platform for local creators to pitch their concepts directly to the decision-makers at TV1. Availability is limited to 10 slots, assigned on a first-come, first-served basis; pre-registration is required by interested parties.
