Mark your calendars for the upcoming Collingwood Collegiate Institute reunion happening the weekend of Sept 21 and 22, 2018.
This exciting event is open to all former students who attended the school for any length of time. The party kicks off on Friday, Sept. 21 at the Collingwood Legion where there will be an informal drop-in beginning at 7p.m. There are many events planned at the school for Sept. 22 including a fun run, alumni basketball, hockey and volleyball games. Enjoy a tour around the school and reminisce at one of the many decade display areas. There will be a kick-off assembly at 11 a.m. in the old gym, which will feature an historical video overview of the past 160 years. Enjoy a Retro Lunch in the cafeteria where many graduate group photos are displayed. At 5 p.m. the event moves down to the Eddie Bush Arena where there will be delicious food available from local vendors such as Cabin, Freshii and G-Bay Gourmet. Enjoy alumni bands and entertainers with DJ Lenny finishing out the night with music from each decade. Most importantly, this exciting event will allow former students and staff to reconnect and reminisce. It's been 10 years since our last reunion!
