On Thursday, Feb. 20, Mr. Kell headed to CARSTAR Collingwood to pick up his vehicle when he was met with a surprise as he learned his vehicle repairs were free.

CARSTAR Collingwood thought this gesture would go a long way for their valued customer, with the goal to bring some happiness to Mr. Kell’s day.

“To celebrate CARSTAR’s Free Repair February, we wanted to gift Mr. Kell with this surprise, as he was paying for the repairs himself,” says Gary Boucher, owner, CARSTAR Collingwood. “He was incredibly surprised by the gesture when he picked up his vehicle. His reaction made everything worthwhile and we are grateful for kind and courteous customers like Mr. Kell.”

One of the founding pillars of CARSTAR has always been to give back to the communities the organization works and lives in. With independently owned and operated collision repair facilities spanning across North America, CARSTAR franchise partners have helped many people beyond their collision repair needs.

“From raising funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis organizations to refurbishing cars and donating to those in need, our CARSTAR family is eager to help their community,” says Dean Fisher, president, CARSTAR. “It is moving to see the network come together, from Nova Scotia to California, for the mutual cause of spreading some good in their communities and thanking our customers.”

This is the second year of CARSTAR’s #FREERepairFebruary program. Beginning last year, as part of its 30th anniversary celebration CARSTAR has made this donation a February tradition.
