Collingwood Arts & Culture Coordinator, Amanda Henry, accepts the Province’s Top 100 Festivals & Events Award on behalf of the Town of Collingwood for the Collingwood Art Crawl.

Collingwood's annual Art Crawl is brushing up against famous Ontario events like the Canadian National Exhibition and the Stratford Festival.

The three events have status in common as they are all on the most recent top-100 events list released by Festivals and Events Ontario.

Heading into its 11th year, the Collingwood Art Crawl pairs artists with local businesses to create a free, self-guided art and music tour for residents and tourists to enjoy.

This year's Art Crawl will take place Saturday, Sept. 16 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is presented by the Town of Collingwood and Butter Gallery with support from the Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA) and local businesses.

Registration is free and now open to visual artists, musicians, and performers from around Ontario. Any local businesses in the downtown core interested in becoming host venues can also register now for free. The registration deadline for both performers and venues is June 15 by 5 p.m.
