Property Valet, a local Collingwood-based vacation rental management company, is preparing to host their second annual charity golf tournament.
The charity of focus is My Friend’s House, a non-profit agency offering support for women and children living in the Georgian Triangle.
The event will take place on Friday, Aug. 11 at South Georgian Bay’s Duntroon Highlands Golf Club. Participation in the tournament includes 18 holes with a cart, a post-golf barbecue and refreshments, games, as well as prizes for placing.
“It’s going to be another great turnout on the green this year,” said Cody Brown, account manager and the tournament’s organizer. “We are a community-focused business, and we’re looking forward to bringing the community together for My Friend’s House, with the support of local sponsors.”
Other local businesses are providing donations of prizes to be auctioned.
Sean Landreth, founder and chairman of Property Valet, says, “Our annual golf tournament has become something special. We love our community here, and appreciate the co-operation of our host course, golfers and sponsors in benefit of this great cause.”
