Carstar Collingwood/Parkway Collision is hosting a charity carwash later this month for the benefit of Cystic Fibrosis Canada and Barbara Weider House in Collingwood.
Soaps it Up is a national fundraiser hosted by Carstars across Canada. The fundraiser has brought in nearly $4 million for Cystic Firbosis research, care, and advocacy over more than 20 years.
Funds raised at the Collingwood event will be split between Cystic Fibrosis Canada and The Barbara Weider House, which is operated by Home Horizon as a homeless youth centre.
The Collingwood event will take place on June 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets will be sold in advance and on the day, and are available for a minimum donation of $5. A ticket includes a car wash, the barbecue, and face painting. The event takes place at Parkway Collision, which is located at 301 Pretty River Parkway.
