Collingwood's Junior A hockey team is inviting local fans to the Legion this weekend for a Tailgate party celebrating the team's historic wins this year.

The Collingwood Junior A Blues won both the Buckland Cup as Ontario Junior Hockey League champions and the Centennial Cup as the Canadian Junior Hockey League Champions this year.

To celebrate the win and share the cups with the community, the Blues will be at the Collingwood Legion backlot on Saturday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a tailgate party.

For a donation of $5 attendees can have a hot dog or sausage, ice cream, and a water or coffee. All proceeds will go to the Special Olympics.

With nine Blues players graduating, the tailgate party will be one of the last chances to see the CJHL championship team together.
