The pianos are back in place and ready for impromptu performances in Collingwood's downtown.

There are eight pianos, some wrapped in original artwork, set up along Hurontario Street where they'll remain for the next few weeks. Anyone can stop at a piano and play a song for the strangers walking by.

"The unexpected often happens when someone sits down at one of these wonderful musical instruments," states a news release from the Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA), which is the organization responsible for the pianos.
