Gaslight Tour is coming back next month, and right now, they're looking for actors to bring Collingwood's herstory to life.

There are four playwrights this year, each of whom have written a play about Collingwood women in history. The tour, which began in 2010, will visit four of the town's historic sites to watch the stories of Collingwood's history that go along with the year's theme. Last year was all about Collingwood's businesses, this year's theme is The Herstory of Collingwood.

During the tour, which runs Oct. 24 to 27, participants will travel to each of the sites where they become the audience, and the evening ends with refreshments in a venue set up as an historic tearoom.

Gaslight Community Theatre Productions is looking for 18 females and six males to play the roles in this year's tour. Group auditions take place starting tomorrow (Sept. 5) at 6:30, 7:30, or 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. at the Simcoe Street Theatre (65 Simcoe Street).

To audition, simply arrive at the theatre for one of those time slots.
