Area mayors will discuss post-pandemic role of municipalities during virtual event

This week, four area mayors and a deputy mayor will be on the same virtual forum discussing the changing role of municipalities in a post-pandemic world. 

Hosted by the Institute of Southern Georgian Bay, the discussion will focus on sustainable futures and how the area municipalities can alight on the top issues facing the region. 

The virtual event will include Mayor Barb Clumpus (Meaford), Mayor Paul McQueen (Grey Highlands), Deputy Mayor Rob Potter (The Blue Mountains), Mayor Brian Saunderson (Collingwood), and Mayor Nina Bifolchi (Wasaga Beach). 

The event is part four of the Institute of Southern Georgian Bay's seven-part series called "Our Sustainable Future." 

The area mayors will be participating in the session scheduled for this Wednesday (May 11) from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
