We need to make up our minds about priorities. We cannot have it all!

Do we want to grow in population? No. OK. Don’t issue building permits.

Yes, we want population growth with nature intact? Then we need to increase the height of the buildings to save the trees, etc. but we still will consume more clean water and air.

Any population growth contributes to pollution one way or the other.

A circular economy would be of some help. Weekend homes don’t need several bathrooms. Keep it modest with small footprints. Learn to share. Waste not, want not.

Give wildlife its necessary space.

We have become the noxious species endangering all others.
