Snowbirds flyover. Take two.
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds announced on their Twitter account that they left CFB Trenton a little after 9:30 a.m., Sunday, to continue ‘Operation Inspiration’.
The nine Snowbirds will fly across southern Ontario, making stops in the Toronto area and London, before flying over Collingwood then to Barrie and landing at Lake Simcoe Regional Airport for 5:15 p.m.
The event was to take place Saturday, but low visibility and snowy conditions forced the postponement.
The fly-over is part of a morale-boosting, cross-country mission to lift people’s spirits during the COVID-19 health crisis.
