Meaford Hall is reopening the theatre for Thursday Flicks on Sept. 17 after being closed due since mid-March. They have announced a series of four films on Thursdays at 4 p.m. with plans to add more films into the fall.
The Hall will have new protocols in place for patrons to ensure everyone’s experience is safe and enjoyable.
Among the changes:
• There will be a max of 30 ticket sold to the first couple of shows, increasing to a max of 50 in weeks three and four
• Tickets must be purchased in advance and a name and contact phone number must be provided
• Designatated seats in the theatre will allow for at least six feet between people (groups of two are allowed but no larger at this time)
• Masks will be mandatory in accordance with the Grey Bruce Health Unit order
• Additional cleaning protolcols are in place between uses
The first film on the screen is Parasite on Sept. 17 followed by Once Upon a Time in Hollywood; The Farewell; and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.
