Murray Maloney is a Metro shopper and he would like to acknowledge the workers there and at all local grocery stores.
"These people are at risk every day," said Maloney. "I doubt they earn much ... How are we going to thank all of those people? How can we ever?"
Today's essential worker of the day acknowledgement also came with help from Metro, which sent in a photo of two of their cashiers, Alex Boughton and Jordan Daigle.
