The Town of Collingwood has opened more of its parks and recreation locations including the skateboard park at Heritage Park and basketball courts for recreational.

The town opened local dog parks and sports fields for individual use last week. Tennis courts, pickleball courts, baseball fields, and soccer fields are all open, but team and contact sports are not permitted.

Though the spaces have reopened, the town is asking people to continue to practice physical distancing. Gatherings of more than five people are prohibited by provincial order.

Change rooms and washrooms remain closed.

You can find health guidelines for physical distancing via Public Health Ontario.
