While St. George’s is in the Bruce-Grey Yellow Covid Zone, the move of Collingwood and area into the Red COVID Zone prompted the church Wardens to suspend all in-person worship, particularly the eight special in-person Christmas Eve services the week before Christmas.

Unfortunately, the Christmas Eve in-person services were already 70 per cent booked by parishioners and friends, including many of whom reside in the new Red Zone.

Be assured that these Christmas Eve services will be offered virtually on-line on the St. George’s YouTube channel:

There will be traditional carols on video, readings and reflections for this festive season. In this way everyone will be keep safe and well.

Be assured that the cancellation of in-person worship will not impact St. George’s outreach ministries, Church Beyond Our Doors.

Preparations by our volunteers will continue for the 500-dinner, Town of the Blue Mountain Christmas Feast to be delivered or picked up.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who have contributed to this wonderful gesture of generosity to the people of the Blue Mountains.

Contributions to St. George’s and its outreach program can be made by calling 519-599-3047 or a donation mailed to St. George’s, Box 9, Clarksburg ON N0H 1J0.
