Advance polls are open today for Canadian voters.
In Collingwood, the advance poll is located at the Leisure Time Club (100 Minnesota Street) and at Pretty River Academy (11521 Highway 26). Advance polls will be open Oct. 11, 12, 13 and 14 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
You will need both your voter registration card and a piece of ID. Options for identification include photo ID including your name and current address, or two pieces of ID including a voter registration card and some form of government-issued ID, or statement from a utility or bank. If you did not receive a voter registration card in the mail, you can check to make sure you're registered here.
Once advance polls close, the next option to vote is on Oct. 21, election day, at the polling stations specified on your voter registration card. You can look up your local election day polling station by entering your postal code here.
