ADOPT ME: Winston is a gentle giant

Adoption fee is by donation during Adopt a Shelter Dog Month

CollingwoodToday, in partnership with the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.
Handsome Winston is the Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) pet of the week.

This great dog is ready for someone special to give him a new home. This gentle giant is calm and friendly. His leash skills are quite good, too.

While he enjoys meeting other dogs, Winston is more of a low-energy kind of dog. It’s because of this that he can be a little nervous sometimes. Also, the GTHS team feels he should have a home with older people — no young kids.

During October, for Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, his adoption fee is by donation and includes his neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, internal and external parasite treatments, and a microchip.

If you want to learn more about Winston, please visit the GTHS and speak with one of the knowledgeable adoption counsellors.
