Hey human,
My name is Tux! I'm the SWEETEST boy in the whole wide world!
I'm about 4 and a half years old and am here at GTHS to find a special place to call home.
I arrived here at the Animal Center a little while ago after being found outside with no one to care for me. Thankfully the nice person who found me knew that if they brought me to GTHS, I'd get the care I needed and would find a purrfect home when I was ready!
Well, now I'm ready! The GTHS humans say that whoever is lucky enough to bring me home will be getting the best kitty companion ever!
I'm a big-time lover boy hehe and really am so sweet and just a happy-go-lucky sort of fella.
There are few things I love more than receiving love and affection from humans. I love getting love and just always want to be wherever the people are. Besides being mister affectionate, I'm a pretty laid-back guy too. The only thing I would ask is to please find a home with no other kitties. Not because I don't like them, but more so for medical reasons... but I'll tell you more about that in a minute!
Let me first tell you why I'm in the Special Paws Program! Well, it turns out I'm pretty susceptible to kitty colds. After getting some medicine from the doc, I'm feeling much better but have struggled with this on and off. I'm a very healthy boy otherwise and perhaps this was just because I'd been living outside! But regardless, the GTHS humans say that it's important for my family to know. Because kitty colds can be quite contagious, this is why the GTHS humans think it's best I'm the only kitty in the home.
My Special Paws adoption fee is only $25 and includes my neuter, information on my kitty colds, up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and microchip.
I can't wait for my purrfect person to find me soon!
