Hi everyone,

My name is Roscoe.

Like everyone else here at GTHS it seems haha I'm part of the Transfer Program and came here from up North!
I have no problem admitting that I was veryyyyy unsure of, well, pretty much everything when I got here.
Unsure of new objects, unsure of new noises, unsure of new people....so, yea, overall quite nervous.

BUT...Wow, the GTHS humans are so impressed with how far I've come in only a week!! (I know, I know, such a good boy!)

At a year old and about 70lbs, I'm kind of a bit of a short and stockier guy, but holy moly, am I ever one cool lookin dude!
I'm brown, I'm black, I'm brindle....I'm a bit of everything with this big gorgeous white chest and little white toesies! SO CUTE! I know!

Enough with the obvious though, let's talk about what I'm looking for in a home and family. Because I'm young, I'll certainly need a good deal of exercise, but I'll also need some dog savvy humans. Finding a family who believe in POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT is perfect for me!

Due to my nervousness of new things, I'll require lots of very slow and positive introductions to...well, everything I guess. Patience, leadership and kindness, that's my perfect combo in an owner!

Oh and if it's not too much to ask, no tiny humans in the home for me. Those things are noisy and all over the place!!! No good for a nervous nellie like me, haha I hope you can understand that.

Anyway, I don't think I'm asking toooo much...just a special guy looking for a special person. I promise that if you're willing to spend the time I need to trust, love and learn, I will be your VERY best bud and devoted companion for alllll of our days together.

If I sound like a good fit so far, then maybe it's best you apply and chat with the Adoption Counselors. My adoption fee is only $400 and includes my neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip.

Can't wait to meet my new family soon!!

Wags,

xoxo Roscoe
